基層宣教訓練促進會 

       在台灣，百分之六十是基層人，但信主的比率一直在1%左右，是未得之民，前幾年海外基督使團（前內地會）也特別出書呼籲眾教會同心；十年前有一群關心基層歸主的同工們在主裏相聚，一同禱告尋求主的心意，想到主耶穌看到困苦流離，如羊無牧的人群，便吩咐門徒要特別關心這個需要，要求主打發工人去收取莊稼。

       因為沒有工人哪來的工作呢；求主在眾教會中呼召打發工人前來，但今日多數的神學院校招收大專以上的學生，許多基層教會和基層機構得到的同工要好好受裝備就有實際的困難，這群關心基層的同工便同心組織〝基層宣教訓練促進會〞期在教會中能訓練更多對基層歸主有負擔的同工，十年前開始在教會中推動延伸制方式的訓練，至2008年成立基層宣教訓練學院，目前由工福出身的杜林茜牧師擔任院長，2012年在桃園大有路購校，推動全職工人的訓練工作。

       但願有更多的教會、基層機構及神學院校在主的引導下，一同來得到基層人歸主，訓練基層的幹部與全職工人一起來同得99%基層未得之民!

             Alliance for Grassroots Training Ministry

      The Grassroots (working class)people of Taiwan made up 65% of the population but only 1% of them are Christians. They are one of the unreached people groups. OMF Taiwan has a special burden for this group of people and has published a prayer booklet urging churches to pray and reach out to them. Thirteen years ago, a group of Taiwan Christians, were also burdened for this unreached people group. They saw the grassroot people as sheep without a shepherd; they began praying together, seeking the Lord as to how to reach out to this group and asking the Lord to send laborers into His harvest field. 
      Without workers, there will be no harvest! We therefore need to ask the Lord to call forth workers from His Church. Many Bible colleges in Taiwan, however, only accept those with tertiary education; many grassroot churches and organizations therefore have difficulty getting their staff equipped for this ministry. As such, the group of Taiwan Christians mentioned above came together to form the “Alliance for Grassroots Training Ministry” (AGTM). It is the goal of AGTM to train believers in churches who are burdened for the grassroot people. An evening class program in various churches was started 13 years ago.
      In 2008, AGTM set up the Grassroot Training College, a daytime school to train fulltime students for grassroot ministry under the leadership of Rev. Lincy Tu , who formerly served in Taiwan Industrial Evangelical Fellowship. Presently Rev. Tu is the principal of the AGTM Grassroot Training Institute. In 2012, AGTM bought the present AGTM premises in Da You Road in Taoyuan city.
It is hoped that many churches, grassroot organizations and Bible colleges under the Lord's leading will together train workers to bring the lost 99% grassroot people to Christ.
